Flat Fee Services When faced with a legal matter, potential clients oftentimes are concerned about how much the legal services will cost and how long a project will take to complete. Because most attorneys provide services on an hourly rate basis, there is a disincentive to do the work efficiently. The more hours an attorney spends on a project, the more time the attorney bills. Moreover, a client cannot accurately budget for the attorney fees because he or she does not know how much time an attorney will bill for a specific legal matter. The attorney may give an estimate, but the client will not know the ultimate “bottom line” cost until the legal matter is completed, and the bill is received. At Todd W. Cline, P.A., we strive to provide quality legal services for the value-minded consumer in North and South Carolina. We do this, where possible, through the provision of legal services for flat fees, exclusive of costs. Mitigating or extenuating circumstances may require adjustment of a flat fee. In such instance, Todd W. Cline, P.A. will review the circumstances in question and provide a flat fee quote for the legal service in question. Further, if you do not see a legal service for which you need an attorney, please contact us to discuss whether we can perform the service for a flat fee. If we cannot, we will state that and provide an hourly rate for which we will do the work. In the latter situation, we also will provide a quote of how long the matter in question should take to complete. The foregoing fees are due and payable when you retain Todd W. Cline, P.A., and the fees are non-refundable. Unless noted, the fees quoted below do not include any applicable filing fee or related costs.
